At this point, the fluorescent magnetic powder sprayed on the part's surface (tiny magnetic particles that emit a high-brightness yellow-green light under ultraviolet light) will be attracted by these "leaking" magnetic fields, accumulating in large quantities at the defect site. This clearly outlines the shape, location, and size of the crack under ultraviolet light, like a precise marking with a fluorescent pen.

 

"Precision machining ensures perfect dimensions, while magnetic particle testing 'clears the minefield' for internal quality," Mr. Chen explained. This process is especially crucial for core components that will operate under high pressure and high impact loads, such as shaped charge perforating gun casings and critical valve components. "Some cracks are so minute that they are difficult to detect with the naked eye or even with ordinary optical inspection, but they could become fatal hidden dangers during future use. Our responsibility is to ensure that these defects never reach our customers."
